-      Processing completely depends on the quality of raw seed origins, a range from 3.8 to 4.5 kg of sun dried raw seeds can give one kg of ungraded cashew kernel. The following data, technology and practices vary from plants to plant and raw seed origin to raw seed origin. As a result, we don’t make a warranty about accuracy of these technologies and practices. Otherwise please contact plant manager for specific consultation.
+ Drying in the sun: High moisture may cause deterioration of the kernel due to mould, bacterial attack or enzyme process. Therefore drying raw seeds after harvesting is necessary to preserve kernel quality.  Raw seeds are dried in the sun for 2 – 2.5 days to bring moisture down to 8% - 10% and then they can keep for 12 months or more if stored under correct conditions in a warehouse.
